 Indoor Air Quality

IAQ Surveys
Poor indoor air quality is often associated with water intrusion in residential and commercial structures. Despite frequent requests for air monitoring for mold, the first step in an investigation should be an assessment of the building to identify possible sources of water intrusion that become reservoirs for mold or fungus. Occupant interviews and an understanding of building construction and maintenance history are important tools in these first investigational tours.

Ventilation Studies
The number one cause of poor indoor air quality is inadequate building ventilation. EPG has equipment to evaluate existing building ventilation systems and experience analyzing the data to provide recommendations for system improvements and upgrades, when necessary.

Air Monitoring, Sampling, and Analyses
When air monitoring is needed to further identify the existence of airborne contaminates EPG has the experience and equipment to complete timely air studies. Reports that discuss the air quality levels and their significance to human health are provided and written in terms that people can understand and respond to in order to solve the problems that were identified.

Air Quality Management
EPG can provide ongoing surveillance and management to ensure building air quality will be maintained at optimal levels and before costly incidents occur. Ventilation system programs and air monitoring can be used to identify potential situations where air quality may become compromised.
